Case-"un"sensitive

Post by zapotechi on Sat Jan 09, 2010 5:49 pm

Hi
i'd like to know if there are any methods to make not case-sensitive instructions like this:

selenium.isElementPresent(//html/body/table[@id='page']/tbody/tr/td/div[@id='content']/table/tbody/tr/td/div=menudiv]/table=menutable]/thead/tr/td/a);

there is one element truly presents into the html page:
//html/body/table[@id='page']/tbody/tr/td/div[@id='content']/table/tbody/tr/td/div=menuDiv]/table=menuTable]/thead/tr/td/a

i'd like that the "isElementPresent" method could find the upper element even if there are two mainly differences menuDiv instead of menudiv and menuTable instead of menuTable

thanks
Massimo

hi,

To change complete word in uppercase or lowercase is possible. You can use it through javascript.

For Ex:

storejavascript{'merchant' + (new Date()).getTime()}merchantId
typetextElementjavascript{storedVars['merchantId'].toUpperCase()}
Hope this will help you. Best of luck.

Bye
