How to drive Google Chrome Extension Empty How to drive Google Chrome Extension

Tue Oct 02, 2012 10:23 am
Hi Guys,

What currently I would like to test is an Google Chrome Extension.
And most of the tests involve the automation of launching extension which under production will be done by user by clicking the icon on Google Chrome Toolbar.

I am currently having trouble to perform this particular step (Launch Extension dialog) with Selenium Web Driver?

With other automation tools, I normally will have put the coordinate of the particular icon and emulate mouse click action on top of the icon.
Is there anyone have done this before with Selenium Web Driver? Any suggestion or workaround ?

Thanks
