Alert is not recognised from async function after RPC in Firefox12 whereas its working in 3.6

I have a page, where in "onload" some RPC is executed and some alerts are shown from call back function, i.e. async. It was working in Firefox 3.6, when I upgraded to Firefox12, its not working, not even in other later version. Its working in IE. Is there any issue due to new lookand-feel of alerts? Any suggestion or help will be great.

Here 'not working' means, alert is shown but not recognised by FF. If we use getAlert or any other function, its saying, 'There were no alerts'.
