You can easily test css selector in FF or Chrome browsers. And then execute test in IE-8. Why do you want to test css selector in IE-8?

Hi,
You can see the page structure by using developer tools in IE8.
- Once you are in the page in IE8, press F12, you can see the developer tools window to the bottom of your screen. You can view details of the object by clicking on the mouse icon in the developer tools window and pointing to the object you want to identify.
You may also try installing the add-on firebug lite for IE.
Hope this helps, thanks!
