Help on browser compatibility Empty Help on browser compatibility

Tue Mar 12, 2013 5:39 pm
HI,
my framework has been designed based on web driver - page object module. Physical txt files store the xpath values of the page controls, this data is being retrieved and used in the Page object classes.

If i have make my code work on IE, then i would need to store the ID values of these page controls and again my txt file size will grow and my Page object class will have additional code to work with ID values.

Is there any better approach in handling this browser compatibility?

try using xpath, instead of id use location.
