wait time possible when downloading a file using selenium?
Sun Nov 11, 2012 1:13 am
Hello, I have a unique issue. I am using selenium to screen scrape and in certain instances this includes downloading files such as excel. Most of the time this works, however, when I come across files that are larger than 1 meg it doesn't wait until the file is downloaded completely before moving on, which causes errors in my collection. I am using C#. Does anyone know how to tell selenium to wait until the file is completely downloaded before moving on? Thanks in advance for the help.

So I hacked it to get selenium to wait. Basically what I did is told it to click on a non existent button multiple times and this gave it the time to complete the download. I know, not elegant but it works for now. If anyone has a better way, please let me know.
