Capturing keystrokes in popups

Post by daddiofaddio on Fri Feb 22, 2013 1:49 am

I am trying to create a test for a web app that prompts the user to upload on or more images. The UI pops up an explorer/finder popup where the user selects the images to be uploaded. When the files are selected, the app just does the upload, as opposed to, say, populating a text box with the file name. As such, selenium does not capture the keystrokes to automate this portion of the test. Is there a way to accomplish this with selenium? Thanks.
