MouseOver Selenium IDE Empty MouseOver Selenium IDE

Thu Jun 27, 2013 7:57 pm
I wanted to verify the content after mouseOver on a HTML element so I used simply: mouseOver with target=xpath of element; if I click Find it locates the element but upon execution there is no hovering. I tried using fireEvent as well so what am I doing wrong for something this simple? It's not happening for any website for me so I'm not sure what the problem is. Thanks.

Code:
[color=#000000][font=Arial, Liberation Sans, DejaVu Sans, sans-serif]<tr>[/font][/color]

[color=#000000][font=Arial, Liberation Sans, DejaVu Sans, sans-serif]    <td>mouseOver</td>[/font][/color]
[color=#000000][font=Arial, Liberation Sans, DejaVu Sans, sans-serif]    <td>//*[@id='ab_ctls']</td>[/font][/color]
[color=#000000][font=Arial, Liberation Sans, DejaVu Sans, sans-serif]    <td></td>[/font][/color]

[color=#000000][font=Arial, 'Liberation Sans', 'DejaVu Sans', sans-serif]</tr>[/font][/color]
