Unable to upload the file by senkeys

i have tried sendkeys function to upload the file but its not working for selenium 2.45.0 with Java

Snippet of code 
FirefoxDriver dr = new FirefoxDriver();
dr.get("URL");
dr.findElement(By.id(".....")).sendKeys("Filepath/FileName");

Try with AutoIT tool,

you need to use following code,
     $windowHandle = WinGetHandle("File Upload") WinActivate($windowHandle)
  
    ControlSetText("File Upload", "", "[CLASS:Edit; INSTANCE:1]",
    $CmdLine[1]) ControlClick("File Upload", "",
   "[CLASS:Edit; INSTANCE:1]")
 

And then in your script call it with following lines
 Process process = new ProcessBuilder("c:\\temp.exe", "c:\\image.jpg", "Open").start();
