Transfer session from PhantomJS to FirefoxDriver Empty Transfer session from PhantomJS to FirefoxDriver

It it possible for FirefoxDriver to take over a session from a PhantomJSDriver (or similar)?

What I am after is a way to run tests behind the scene and if a specific requirement is triggered I would like a real browser to take over the session and present for the user.
