how to identify alerts which can by our events?

how can identify some alerts like, fields in a form after validating, error fields must show with red border.

in viewsource also there is nothing related red border.
but i got some information about red border by inspect element?

hi,

try to inspect that element via firebug and check if that element is coming under any frame or not. It'll give you all the properties related to that frame or element.

try to generate its xpath or css path to access that element. hope this will help you.
