Issue - Selenium checks object in some cache
Tue Mar 22, 2011 9:14 pm
I am facing an issue while using "isElementPresent(objectId)" selenium method.
I am using this method to check for presence of object on browser. My test scenario is like -
Step 1 - Perform some operation
Step 2 - check for element with isElementPresent(objectId)
Step 3 - Perform another operation which will hide the objectId from browser (After this step object is no more visible on browser)
Step 4 - Perform some operation
Step 5 - check for element with isElementPresent(objectId)
Step 5 returns true even if the object is not yet shown on browser. Does selenium caches the objects which were used earlier. Any solution to this issue??
Thanks in advance.
