How to use StoreAlert in Selenium IDE

Post by aanand on Tue Mar 29, 2011 9:13 pm

i tried following code,
type
users
1

store
'alert'
noofuseralert

click
//input[@value='Submit']

storeAlert
${noofuseralert}

nothing stored in that variable

i
don't understand how to store alert text in a variable, so many sites i
checked, but still i didn't get any idea about storeAlert syntax.

please reply any one.

It can be done very easily using Selenium RC.
selenium.getAlert Function will be helpful.
