How to identify the elements displayed in UI alone Empty How to identify the elements displayed in UI alone

Mon Feb 20, 2012 4:46 pm
My scenario is,
A table of records displayed. Did a search and found few records as the result. When I try to retrieve the resulting records, it returns all the available records instead of the result found displayed in the UI.

How to get the resulting records alone ? Please help me.

Note: I use the XPATH locator here to retrieve the records.

yeah ! I found that. The result I got is because of the time out problem. Before the search gets completed, the result query got executed and hence I got everything in the resulting output. To test I put a Thread.sleep(timeout); and got the proper result.
