Using WebDriver syntax with Selenium 2 Empty Using WebDriver syntax with Selenium 2

Sun Aug 07, 2011 9:43 pm
I am very new to Selenium and am a bit confused by whether we should be using WebDriver commands (as given in their javadoc) or use Selenium class' functionalities which are more similar to Selenium IDE commands. I mean, is the WebDriver API the recommended way to do things ?

Yes webdriver is the recommended way. Its got a lot of advantages over RC.
Its easy, simple and is having more features.
The commands in Webdriver are not similar to IDE commands. RC has commands similar to IDE.

Ashish
