Hi,
I have same 'Edit' link in 4th td of each row of table, how can I assert first Edit link?
assertElementPresent | //table[2]/tbody/tr[0]/td[4]/link=["Edit"] or
assertElementPresent | //table[2]/tbody/tr[0]/td[4][link="Edit"]
not working.

Hi,

Every edit button have unqiue xpath or dom locator. Record the all button locator in selenium and see the difference.

Use the locator generated by selenium IDE and verify that instead of using text.

try to use this type of locator , if nothings work:
//form[@id='batch-action-form']/table/tbody/tr/td/h2[contains(text(),'This is a test')]

bye
