RuntimeException: sessionId doesn't exist

I'm new to RC and am trying to get it setup to run against a very simple test (search google). When I run the command to start it, I get this error and it shuts down (prior to starting the browser): "HTML suite exception seen: java.lang.RuntimeException: sessionId 557612 doesn't exist; perhaps this session was already stopped?".

This is my command: java -jar selenium-server.jar -multiwindow -htmlSuite "iexplore" "http://www.google.com" "C:\Selenium 5-11\selenium-server-1.0.3\suite.html" "C:\Selenium 5-11\selenium-server-1.0.3\results.html"

The result file is empty. My suite.html looks like this:

" <table><tr><td>Overall Tests </td></tr><tr><td>TEST CASE A</td></tr></table>"

If your session id changes every time your script executed, then you have to pick session id on runtime from browser cookies.

there is one command available in selenium to get all information of cookie into a variable and then you can pick up your session id.

Try this one and see will this help you or not. Best of luck.

i am facing the same problem in IE only if i run the same code in FF it works fine.Could you help in finding what could be the reason.
