Need help to identify this error Empty Need help to identify this error

Thu Mar 21, 2013 10:48 am
Hi Guys,

Can anybody help to identify this error that I'm facing? I'm using Selenium to run on a company web. I've came upon this failure and need some help to overcome this.

  • [info] Executing: |type | id=form1:icePnlTbSet:0:insdRefNo | 00000 |
  • [error] Element id=form1:icePnlTbSet:0:insdRefNo not found
The insdRefNo refers to the field that I need to input a value in which in this case is '00000'. But what does 'id=form1:icePnlTbSet:0' mean?

it's the locator you are using to identify the element. During the execution your filed is not present or your id is differ.

check the locator again. try using other method to identify xpath or css.

Best of luck.

bye
