Problem with select in JavaScript

Post by JacekB on Fri Mar 22, 2013 2:38 pm

Hi all,
I have a problem with the select.
I used JavaScript and change the hidden object parameter. After trying a selection of the first and second fields, then the fields are not set.
But when I use the same code on the same field, it is well ...

Please help, what is wrong in this code?

Implements methods:
Code:

protected String getJSRemoveStyle(String locator) {
        ObjectDefinition objectDefinition = resolveObjectDefinition(locator);
        String script = "var main = document.getElementById('" + objectDefinition.getValue()
                + "'); main.removeAttribute('style'); var output = main.getAttribute('" + objectDefinition.getValue() + "');";
        return script;
    }

public void executeJavaScript(String script) {
        JavascriptExecutor js = (JavascriptExecutor) driver;
        js.executeScript(script);
    }

public void selectWithJS(String script, String value) {
        getDriver().executeJavaScript(script);
        getDriver().waitForVisibilityOfElement(getObjectDefinition());
        new Select(webElement).selectByValue(value);
    }

This code calls:
Code:

\\ ${object('month')} that id=exp_m
\\ ${object('year')} that id=exp_y
        listBox().create("${object('month')}").selectWithJS(getJSRemoveStyle("${object('month')}"), "${data('month_value')}");
        listBox().create("${object('year')}").selectWithJS(getJSRemoveStyle("${object('year')}"), "${data('year_value')}");

Regards
Jacek
