Traffic forwarding
Sat Mar 23, 2013 5:57 am
Hello!
I am wondering whether it is possible to redirect traffic from JAVA server, namely the web driver selenium (chromedriver / opera / IE / etc ..) to the client application.
The main difficulty now is - how to say web driver to an existing TCP connection to a client for forwarding traffic.
The analogy with the proxy server. You can tell the client acts as a proxy server for web driver. Most web proxy settings in the driver and show proxy server to the client will not solve such a problem, because in order to web driver able to connect to a proxy server on the client's request, the client must have a "good" IP address, and should not be behind a router or network equipment etc . Therefore, the client must initiate the TCP connection with the server, JAVA and JAVA server should like to say that the web is the driver to use a TCP connection.
Have any ideas?
