Cannot Upload Picture In Webdriver + Eclipse Empty Cannot Upload Picture In Webdriver + Eclipse

Thu Apr 25, 2013 3:22 am
I am trying to upload picture using this code

driver.findElement(By.id("SWFUpload_0")).sendKeys("C:pic.jpg");

it will not upload

If I try driver.findElement(By.id("SWFUpload_0")).click();

It will popup the box to choose the file but stops from there?

How can I upload The picture using the proper commands?

The path - "C:pic.jpg" does not seem valid
Can you open the file from windows explorer using this path -

"C:pic.jpg"

?

I apologize the command I am using is driver.findElement(By.id("SWFUpload_0")).sendKeys("C:\\pic.jpg");
Now I noticed the site is using a flash upload does anyone know how I would go about automating the upload using Autoit or something similar that perhaps is better than Autoit?

flash is not feasible with regular WebDriver API
