Using Selenium Webdriver through selenium with fancy reporting Empty Using Selenium Webdriver through selenium with fancy reporting

Wed Jul 23, 2014 10:19 pm
I am using Selenium Webdriver for automation of test cases. These test scripts are automating against my local PC (not tied to a build). I am just running these tests from Visual Studio and they are executing against the browser on my local PC.  These tests were exported from Selenium Firefox plugin application into Visual Studio.  The challenge I am having is in generating a fancy report with charts and such.  I have heard that other applications (Junit, ANT, TestNG) using Selenium can generate pretty nice report, but  I have not discovered that Visual Studio and Microsoft Test Manager without being tied to a build and/or manually selecting test cases that are tied to scripts to 'Pass/Fail.'   See links below. I would like to generate reports like this.  Is it possible to generate reports using some plugin for Selenium Webdriver and/or Visual Studio 2013 for my automated scripts?

Hi,
I read your comment, try to use the Eclipse IDE and import the TestNG jar in your project, and here you can customize your reporting in the TestNG.
I hope this will help you.
