IDE - Values not retained on next page

Post by noelf21 on Mon Dec 22, 2014 11:41 pm

Hi,

I was hoping someone might be able to shed some light on whether my problem is selenium based or a code issue.

I am currently trying to get selenium to enter a value in a forename and surname field, once these values are entered and the user clicks 'Next', it should load a new page and amend the forename and surname to make a username in a new field.

However currently the username field is not populating, it works when running through the steps manually. I was able to successfully use the send keys function once but it hasn't worked since. Does anyone have any tips or ideas on things I can try in IDE to resolve this?

Thanks,
Noel
