Using findElements or findElement - is one faster than the other ? Empty Using findElements or findElement - is one faster than the other ?

If I am looking for a specific element on the page, and i'm pretty sure that only 1 exists.

Is there any advantage of using findElement over findElements ?

findElement will take as long as the timeout period is set to, in some cases it could be up to 30 seconds. Even if it takes just 2-3 seconds to scan the whole page, findElement will still wait to see if JavaScript updates the page.
