how to write test case for dynamic web page

Suppose i have a dynamic website e.g www.timesofindia.com for every hours the news is going to change so the content will be change, suppose we have to write a test case for this for selenium and what are the approaches we can take for this, please help me ...waiting for your reply.

First of all now days all of website are dynamic and content are frequently changes.

you can follow various approach to keep in limitation of tool and frequency of data and its element identification change.

1. record and play is best approach to start it.run your script in every release. find the number of failure occurrence and what has been changed in current release. then plan according to that.

2. choose various element identification approach which will not break in any condition like xpath, css or id.

3, create your own framework to make more robust approach , if you have very good programming skills.

4. there are lots of more approach which depend on you creative skills and project condition.
