Store an id in a Value Empty Store an id in a Value

Wed Sep 21, 2011 10:14 pm
Hello!

I'm a newbie, and i want to build a test. I need to store only a part of an ID number.

Here is a part of the Page

Code:
<div class="wallcomment_block_content">
<div id="content_post_114691" class="wallcomment_block wallpost_with_id wall_post_block ">

From here i want to store only the 114691. This id is dynamic, every post has another one. How can i store it as a Variable in Selenium? Thanks for the help

I´m a newbie too, but maybe the `pattern`will hlep you. With pattern, and a locator - string before you will be able to extract numbers.

Get content_post_11469 in one variable say string
then
Code:
store | 1 | delimiter
store | javascript{storedVars['string'].split('post_')[storedVars['delimiter']]} | id
echo | ${id}

Result will be 11469
