Element not found error and quits in explorer / runs in firefox Empty Element not found error and quits in explorer / runs in firefox

Thu Dec 03, 2009 3:32 pm
I installed Selenium IDE in firefox. To run the html file generated in explorer , downloaded selenium RC . but when i give the command,
java -jar selenium-server.jar -htmlSuite "*iexplore" "http://webaddress/" "c:\filepath\suite.html" "c:\Users\filepath\results.html"
in explorer, it loads the browser but gives me error message " the element/id/btn wasn't found" .

The same file runs in firefox perfectly fine and also when i use local address like C://.. , it runs perfectly fine even in internet explorer..

need your help..

Add this line to the end and try again,
Code:
-userExtensions "C:\filepath\user-extensions.js"

You can also create a .bat file and add the entire line in it along with the userextensions, that u are trying to run from the command line.
