Use of Find button

Can anyone tell me that what is the exact use of find button? I know It's about finding the location of an element but what we will do after finding the element?

On clicking of find button selected element gets highlighted on the webpage. Is that only use of find button?

Yes you are right, it is used to find element on webpage basically. Or you can verify that written element is there on webpage..
