Selenium RC with Google Chrome on Windows server 2008

Hi Friends,

Greetings to all...

I want to run selenium scripts on Google chrome browser parallely with other browsers like IE.
I could do it successfully with IE and Firefox. However, when selenium launches Google chrome, and opens the Window/URL for the application i want to open, an error is displayed such as 'Sorry an error occurred, please contact your application administrator".

When i use the same URL in google chrome browser manually, the application is opened up successfully.
I am trying a lot to know the cause. If any one can help me please!!!

Please note that the logged in user has admin rights.
I also tried by starting RC as Administrator.
RC version used is Selenium 1.0.2.

Please help me...

Hi,

Have you installed chromedriver-win.exe and configured path?
I did n't work on RC but I guess this may be the miss.

Hi Lovekesh,

I tried ur suggestion.
I ran the chromedriver exe and also provided the path to this exe in the script.

But selenium was not able to launch google chrome browser.
Can u pls let me know something more if you have any idea.

I noticed that Google page is shown up successfully but its not working for my application.

I will appreciate ur inputs on this.
