Warning: Unresponsive script on Firefox 11, Firefox 12, Firefox 13 on selenium-server-standalone-2.x
Tue Jun 19, 2012 8:14 am
Hi,
Has anyone encountered an intermittent pop-up warning titled "Warning: Unresponsive script" - A script on this page may be busy, or it may have stopped responding. you can stop the script now, or you can continue to see if the script will complete.
I'm getting this warning while running Selenium 1 RC type tests through a grid hosted by selenium-server-standalone-2.x. specifically running Firefox 11, Firefox 12, or Firefox 13 tests on a Windows 7 box 32-bit boxes.
I've tried the following actions to resolve this:
* created a custom profile in Firefox 11. Went to "about:config" and set the "dom.max_script_run_time = 0" and "dom.max_chrome_script_run_time = 0". started the selenium-server-standalone-2.x using -firefoxProfileTemplate argument set to the custom firefox profile folder name & location (.i.e -firefoxProfileTemplate C:\folderlocation\firefoxprofilefoldername)
My goal is trying to run Firefox 11, Firefox 12, and Firefox 13 using the selenium 1.x RC style vs. selenium 2.x web-driver style
