unable to connect the IWebdriver app to the local network Empty unable to connect the IWebdriver app to the local network

I am trying to automate testing on iPad using C# through the mono project on mac. The iWebDriver app so installed on the iPad simulator is unable to connect to websites on the local network. I tried doing so with the safari browser in the simulator , and it works fine. The IWebdriver app connects to the internet easily but not with the websites on the local network. Can anyone help me with this issue?

I am using iPad 5.1 simulator and checked out the iphone webdriver project on 22/6/2012.

Selenium version:selenium 2
OS:iPad 5.1 simulator
Browser:UIWebview
