Not redirecting to https Empty Not redirecting to https

HI
I am having "Login" link which will take from http to https page. i am starting and stopping the selenium server through ant. When i am executing the acceptance test using ant command for the first time its working fine. From next time onwards it's not redirecting to https page and test cases are getting failed mentioning element id not found or Timedout error.
Test cases are not getting failed if i am not stopping the selenium server.
Can anyone please help me to resolve this strange issue.
