Selenium functions used via python
Thu Feb 04, 2010 10:44 pm
Hi,
I'm new user of this tool, and in the begining I found some problematic issue in which I hope someone will be able to help.
When we use html in Selenium IDE every function from Selenium can be used, as it's said in documentation. But when we use python we have less function and rules are a little bit different.
Egz. waitForTextPresen - Generally if we use Verify function in python can be found is_something function. But there is many functions which don't have substitute in python.
Is there any rules how we can use every functions from selenium in python?
As a pythons editor I use 'active python'.
Thanks for help
EDIT:
Ok, found it - >> do_command << function enable to use every selenium stuff. Parameters for executed selenium function must be pointed as a table.
do_command("selenium-function",[arguments])
