Multiple Button issue
Fri Oct 12, 2012 6:47 pm
Hi
I am using selenium testing using Firefox. I am executing the application using the selenium IDE.
Through selenium IDE, i am able to login and move to the corresponding screen.
There are 4 buttons on my screen, when I invoke through selenium to click on 2nd or 3rd button it does not perform any action.
Each button is associated with hidden field which holds the value for the button. This is used in the javascript for each button. Selenium find the element properly but is not able to perform the proper action (Instead of clicking the found element i.e 2nd or 3rd button, it always clicks the first buton.)
I am using the following -
driver.findElement(By.xpath("//div[@class='buttonSet buttonSortable sortable']/fieldset[@id='fd_component_JSON_TASK_NScreateButton']/input[@value='Create Master Case']")).click();
I am new to selenium and would require your help to proceed.
