How to implement logic: if element exist in the list (array), Se, Selenise
Tue Oct 30, 2012 11:20 pm
HI, all
I'm trying to implement logic where I check if ${month} exists in predefined static list , e.g. (Jan, Feb, Mar, Sep). Then if YES do gotoIF target1 if NOT gotoIF target2.
We actively using js user extensions in our framework, and trying to stay withing Selenium/Selenise.
What would be the good way to do so? To define some array in js? or some other things?
Thanks for help.

You could try this:
gotoIf | storedVars['month']=="Jan","Feb","Mar","Sept" | target1
gotolabel | target2
You don't need another evaluation to go to target2. You can tell it to directly go to target2 if the gotoIf evaluation is not true.
