Selinium IDE stops recording

I'm new to Selinium, and can't figure out what makes it sometimes stop recording. I'll be recording some simple stuff and then it stops. Also, I can't quite figure out how to get it back into recording mode (hitting record doesn't always do it) if I've had to go and edit the script.

Any advice or pointers as to what to read will be appreciated.

I have been using IDE for quite some time. I haven't experienced the scenario you are getting yet. But I think that the recording stops only when we run the script using the play buttons or when we double click on a command.

Can you also provide some more info on the version of firefox and IDE you are using.

I have seen this before and have never figured out exactly what causes it.
