Text Box Data Clears When Page Submitted Empty Text Box Data Clears When Page Submitted

When I manually enter text into a field, everything works fine. When using Selenium IDE, the data is entered, but clicking anywhere else in the page will result in the data clearing from the text box. This issue is specific to this one field only. I have tried numerous different ways around this, but have not been successful. Does anyone have any suggestions on what to try?
