waitForPageToLoad, not really waiting...
Fri Mar 29, 2013 11:41 pm
Hi,
I'm new to Selenium IDE so this could possibly be a User issue. I have a clickAndWait command followed by a waitForPageToLoad with 6000 in the target. If I understand correctly this should have sIDE wait for 6 seconds before executing the next command. If that's the case then it's not working. Thanks for any help.
I'm running OS X (mountain lion), Firefox 19.0.2, and Selenium IDE 1.10.0. I also tried it in my Windows 7 VM running Firefox 19.0.2.

6000 is timeout period..till this time, if page doesn't load then it will return error..
If page load within 1 sec then next command will execute..It will not wait for 6 sec for next command to execute.

If you want it to wait 6 seconds use the Pause command instead

Thank you; the "pause" command did exactly what I wanted it to do.ccox wrote:If you want it to wait 6 seconds use the Pause command instead
