Netscape is undefined in Selenium-RC click command
Wed Jun 02, 2010 7:25 pm
Hi all,
I am testing using Selenium RC and I came across a weird error on a
simple "type" command:
Command execution failure. Please search the forum at http://clearspace.openqa.org
for error details from the log window. The error message is:
'netscape' is undefined
I'm running Test Runner 1.0.1 2696 with IE7.
Does anyone know why this error occurs?
Thanks!

hi,
I think you are giving Netscape browser instead of chrome or IE. If not then you are using some variable which is not properly initialized during run time.
Please check your code again. best of luck.
Bye

I'm not using any particular code - I'm just using the selenium Java files as I downloaded it from the website? The weird thing is that it works on other machines, so I'm guessing it's related to an install of a product, maybe Firefox? I don't have Netscape, btw, I don't think anyone does at this point.
- since command image is enable still i am not able to click through selenium why ?
- Selenium IDE showing error in click command.. hw to resolve this error
- click command not working on Firefox
- Creating detail log for selenium command execution (Selenium RC Java client)?
- Select the “back” button of the Firefox browser to right click and Select the Option from the right click Menu in Selenium Web Driver - Java
