how to autosave a test case?

Greetings all,
I'm very new in Selenium and much excited about this tool.
For exploratory tests, I'm auto recording when browser (firefox) comes up and I wish to save the test case automatically to whatever file.
Is there a way to do it?

If the magic exists, please give me exact instructions on what to do (again, i'm a newbie).

There is no auto-saving ability built in. Your best bet would be hitting Ctrl + S.
