when download button is clicked pop up dialog box displayed , i am unable to automate it.

i am an newbee and am using c# & selenium web driver in my project. i have the following query.

on click of the download button of my reports page of the application the following dialog box is displayed and i want to click to "ok button" .



please tell me what code do i have to use in detail . i did not understood the following code whose heading is :"how to switch to popup window without window id"

Depending on what type of pop up it is, you can try a few things

//This will select OK on an alert pop up
driver.SwitchTo().Alert().Accept();

If it is actually a window and it does not have an ID you will need to switch the focus to the child window's handle(unique identifier basically).

//Get the parent window's handle to switch back to it later
String main = driver.CurrentWindowHandle;

//Switch focus to the child window
driver.SwitchTo().Window(driver.WindowHandles[1]);

//Close the child window if you need it to
driver.Close();

//Move focus back to the parent window
driver.SwitchTo().Window(main);

Above code will work in safari and IE broswer?
