NoSuchElementError: no such element (javascript webdriver)

i have problems with checked for exists element in code


if (browser.isElementPresent(webdriver.By.css("a#link-goto-globalsite"))){
browser.findElement(webdriver.By.css("a#link-goto-globalsite")).click();
}else{
console.log('Button is exist');
}

"isElementPresent" provides true always, even if the element is not present

Hi,

did you search the source code of the page with the above criteria.

There might be chances, the element is present but disabled or not displayable.

So can you try with isDisplayable aswell.

three ways wen a element is not there..

1.Element is not there,no lelement like that
2.Elelemnt is there in DOM but not visible--->you goit trapped here. All the best
3.Element is there in DOM and visible
4.An element can be clone of there element-->might expected element can have own replicate ,but both are two different element
