How to use Excel data in Selenium

I would like to Use the Excel data in to Selenium Test, like as we do in QTP , is it possible to do so

It will be great if some provide me the compararsion of QTP and Selenium

Yes ,it very much possible but for this you need the programming help either in java ,C# or any other in which excel read write support is available.

so look on web how to read and write excel file and frame according to your requirement. You have to download some jar for excel like POI or jExcel for microsoft and for open office they have their own jar I don't remember name right know just go to open office official site.

Every thing is possible in selenium and much more than QTP provide. Just you have to find a way to it through your programming skills and creativity.
