Error message while automating using IE browser
Thu Aug 04, 2011 10:26 pm
Hi All,
I am automating scripts using "IE" browser with Selenium tool.
I find that for a particular textbox entry, when a valid variable is entered, i am getting an error message "enter a valid variable."
I am using the "type" command to enter text inside the textbox.
However this issue is not occurring when i use "firefox" for automation.
Is there any workaround for the same.
Thanks,
Nithya

Which version of IE are you using?
The other way round can be that you can make a javascript function to to do the same thing and put it in your extensions.
