Simulation of searching something in list using Selenium

I've got a list with some data. Every position has got a link to more details.
I do simulation of 'walking' through the list by using for loop, enter every record's details and check if there is a specific text. If the text is there - I want do something and break the loop, else I just continue loop from the beginning. Sounds simply, but Selenium clicks "return", back to list and end the test with positive effect ("The test passed").
I don't know why the loop is doing only one iteration, if there is 10 position on the main list.
Does someone have any idea?
