Can't get RC to work on Linux with Firefox Empty Can't get RC to work on Linux with Firefox

Hi All,

I have started using Selenium RC recently and I am trying to run a script written in Java on Linux. Following are the environment details:

Selenium: selenium-server-standalone-2.0rc2.jar
Operating system: Linux (Fedora)
Browser: Mozilla Firefox 3.6.18
Programming Language: Java
Java-Driver: selenium-java-2.0rc3.jar

The server launches properly but when I try to run the script with junit, I get the following error:

Preparing Firefox profile...

ERROR - Failed to start new browser session, shutdown browser and clear all session data
java.lang.RuntimeException: Timed out waiting for profile to be created!

Can someone please help me with this error. Let me know if more info is required.


P.S. The same script works properly with Windows and firefox gets launched without any problem.
