TypeKeys doesn't work in Firefox 12 =(
Sat Apr 28, 2012 5:53 am
So i've looked around and it seems this has been a common problem ever since Firefox 8. Although i've had TypeKeys work fine form 8 to 11. The recent Firefox 12 update has totally killed my IDE scripts that use TypeKeys.
Is there a planned update in Selenium IDE for this issue or a workaround that anyone knows of?
Just to describe: IDE finds the element no problem, and it even marks the specific TypeKey event as passing, but its not actually typing anything in the field I need it to versus it always worked before.
Thanks!

Not sure but FF 12 support for IDE may not be there yet

Yes you are right hitsurume, there is some issue with command 'typeKeys' for FF12 and FF12 supports IDE
- How to work with menus of Firefox or IE...
- Can't get RC to work on Linux with Firefox
- Custom Firefox profile doesn't work
- In the IDE i am using typeKeys to enter email into email text box but the dot is being missed out
- Warning: Unresponsive script on Firefox 11, Firefox 12, Firefox 13 on selenium-server-standalone-2.x
